Our primary objective is to develop talent and build capacity in knowledge braiding across a learning continuum including youth, students, Indigenous Guardians, early career researchers, and knowledge leaders and towards a diversity of leadership vocations.
BKC’s Talent and Capacity Building Program connects youth, early career professionals, and knowledge leaders to pursue diverse and self-determined learning paths leading to community, government, industry, ENGO, and academic advancement. The program enhances the skill set of Western researchers to collaborate with Indigenous researchers and Knowledge Holders and vice versa. This will be achieved through a highly-connected training network, supporting teaching and learning across generations and career stages and among peers pursuing shared and distinct training paths.
