The ACE provides critical guidance and contributions to advance Environment Sector (ES) and Water Sector (WS) efforts in a variety of key policy areas including but not limited to, climate action, terrestrial and marine conservation and stewardship and environmental health.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ACE is comprised of regionally appointed representatives with both political and technical <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">expertise, along with representatives from the AFN\u2019s Knowledge Keepers Council and Youth Council and additional subject matter experts. In its composition alone, among other things, the ACE enables and embodies the practice of braiding research, knowledge, knowledge mobilization and capacity development in the areas of climate, conservation, biodiversity, environmental health and water stewardship, among others.
